After using many different kinds of car iPhone holders, this was one of the better ones. The design and quality of materials was solid and well thought out. This comes with extras that will cover a variety of mounting situations. Just make sure that if you are mounting on a dashboard surface that it is as flat as possible. A little curve might be fine due to the included dashboard mounting plate, but ideally you would want to mount on a relatively flat surface. I mounted this in the driver side corner windshield. It was easy to install with the included instructions. Once mounted, it was rock solid and held on tight. I had to stick the included ring on the back of my iPhone case, as my case did not have a super strong hold by itself. After driving around, over speed bumps and turns, the phone mount did not wiggle or budge at all. You can rotate and angle to a variety of positions which is nice. Because the magnets are so strong, I recommend angle lifting one edge of your phone first when you want to dismount it from the holder or use both hands.
